Write a haiku advocating Kilroy’s quest for Galactic Peace Through Music for a chance to win an Ultra Kilroy Prize Pack!
The writer of the winning haiku will receive an Ultra Kilroy Prize Pack. Kilroy will also perform aloud the winning haiku, along with runner-up haiku, in a video entitled Kilroy’s Fancy Dress Haiku Revue, which will be posted on this blog.
There is no wrong way to write this haiku (except for getting the number of syllables wrong ;D). You may choose to embody some of the themes that pop up in Kilroy’s music (Jane Austen, films, cats, glugs, space travel) or themes that are important to you. Just make sure it comes from your gut.
You may enter as many haiku as you like. If Kilroy does not know you personally, make sure to like him on Facebook so he can contact you. The contest ends Friday, April 12th at midnight. Happy haikuing!
*A haiku is a short poem that consists of three lines - the first with five syllables, the second with seven, and the last with five.
